Food review

This is the first lunch eaten in Paris, it was feel awesome in the day, because it was the first meal that can make me happy and feel warm. Why I will say that is because I at the restaurant I was order a set of lunch it came with a bowl of hot soup , a hot pork main course , a cup of tiramisu, and a hot chocolate milk drink. The set of the menu was cost me around 17€ it was worth it. The tasted of the food it was does not make me forget. Let introduce the food that I eaten in Paris for first lunch.

The pic is show the appetizer (asparagus cream soup) and hot chocolate milk.

When the soup came to the table, my saliva was start to run in my mouth. The soup appearance is no so good, it smell very strong cream smell and the soup was look in green color. The first mouth that I taste, it taste asparagus and cream, the combine of the soup was very match. The soup I taste got a bit spicy, it like put a lot of pepper inside the soup , but I like the taste of pepper. After few sec  the waiter was send the bread come and I deep the bread with the asparagus cream soup. The bread was absorbed the soup when I ate it, I can feel the soup was running in my mouth. The hot chocolate milk tasted is you won’t tasted in Malaysia, because the hot chocolate milk is full of chocolate taste , and when I drink it is so smooth, and this was the first time can taste so nice chocolate drink .

Finish my appetizer, it was the main course time. Main course was came pork cook in red wine. It look so great , because it portion was very big. When I look to my main course, I was thinking that one of my favor in Malaysia that is Bak Kut Teh. The pork cook in red wine it was combined with potato and carrot. It more look like a pork stew. When I start to taste it was like pork version ‘beouf(beef) Bourguignon’ .  The pork was tender enough and eat with the pork fat together it was feel nice , the pork fat was melted in your mouth in few sec.  After eaten the pork , I feel my body start to feel warm , and my face start to turn red. I think is because of the wine, I make me body temperature increase.

Lastly was the dessert of the taste , their dessert of the day is tiramisu, tiramisu is a Italian word, that means ‘I miss you’ . Their tiramisu was put in a cup, that is the traditional way to serve the tiramisu, the way of served tiramisu is very hard to find in Malaysia. The based is use the fingers sponge deep with coffee liquor then middle is put mascarpone cheese lastly on top it was dust some cocao powder. First mouth I taste the tiramisu I feel that I fall in to love of the tiramisu it was tasty, the cheese was smooth, the sponge was absorb full of coffee liquor. It was taste no so sweet for me and I like the taste of it.

Overall with the food for me is good, and feel worth it just pay for 17€ can taste the awesome food.

Restaurant review

Last two weeks ago, i was followed school trip to France. The point of going to France is to know more their culture and the histories of the place. France was a nice weather; no as same as Malaysia is hot weather in four seasons. The season we at France is autumn, mostly in autumn time was the season of rain, when I at France it was rain every days. The food in at France there were serving winter dish such as cassoulet , duck confit ( the duck cook in the low temperature oil) and etc.

The 4th day in France I was follow them go to Carcassonne, at Carcassonne I was visited the castle and lunch over there. Around 12pm, I wish my friends go to dinning the restaurant in the castle name is L’ostal Des Troubadours. The restaurant was remote, and it look like old modern, but the environment was like home and when we go in that time we feel we are in our house , and it feel very relax. The table setting was beautiful , they have open wood fire in the restaurant, the open wood fire it have double function , first is let the restaurant feel warm because in autumn time the temperature was around 10-13⁰c. Second function is to grill the meat. In the restaurant they also have live band, it also will make the restaurant look more like a home.

Their price of the foods can consider is cheap, they have a la carte menu , the price is start at 8€ to 20€. They also have set menu which is 18€ for three course set menu, 21€ is four course set menu, 25€ is five course menu. Their waiters are friendly, when we ask about the food , they will explain to us.  In their restaurant signature is cassoulet, in the cassoulet it had grilled sausage, pork , lard ,duck confit ( the duck cook in the low temperature oil) and cannellini beans. The taste of the cassoulet rich in flavor , the meat was tender , the sausage was chewy. It was great, and the food can make your more energy and give your body warm. When you came to the restaurant this is the dish you must order ‘ cassoulet’.

The combination of the noodle it have curdled pig’s blood, chewy pig’s skin, pork intestine, pork meat ball and others. In the movie that also have burst meatballs. Burger..... yummy.... yummy ..... surppppp

Burger, burger, burger- Now a day burger be a trend in Malaysia, we can saw a lot of burger  shop around with us like McDonald, Malaysian styled Ramli burger, burger kaw kaw, burger bakar and a lot of burger shops. Malaysia burger trend just start from few month ago, and a lot of people become a burger mad. Why burger can be so famous in Malaysia, is because it have a soft and sponges burger bun, mix salad, juicy and favorites burger patty (ground meat or chicken meat), mayonnaise, mustard, pickled cucumber, and cheese on top of the burger patty. Burger also is a type of sandwich, it can be a chicken burger, beef burger , rabbit burger, venison burger , veggie burger(vegetarian burger) and other. A classical burger is a beef patty with two slice of bread , it was first created in American by Louis Lassen, White Castle traces the origin of the hamburger to Hamburg, Germany with its invention by Otto Kuase. However, it gained national recognition at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair when the New York Tribune namelessly attributed the hamburger as, "the innovation of a food vendor on the pike."No conclusive claim has ever been made to end the dispute over the inventor of the hamburger with a variety of claims and evidence asserted since its creation.
Burgers are usually a feature of fast food restaurant. The burgers served in major fast food establishment are usually mass-produced in factories and frozen then delivery to the site. The burgers are thin of uniform thickness. Differing from last time American burger prepared in home or convention restaurant which is thicker and prepared by hand from the ground beef. Burgers in fast food restaurants are usually grilled on a flat-top, but some firms, such as Burger King, use a gas flame grilling process. At conventional American restaurants, hamburgers may be ordered "rare", but normally are served medium-well or well-done for food safety reasons. Fast food restaurants do not usually offer this option.
Malaysian styled Ramli burger is also mass-produced in factories and frozen , then it will send to the a small Ramli burger stalls . Ramli burger patty are thin but quite favourites, it have contain 2 slice of burger bans , beef or chicken patty , tomato sauce or chili sauce, cabbage, cucumber, and onion. Sometime you can order a burger special,  it is a patty wrap with pan fried egg, or double special it is a pan fried egg wrap with two patties. Ramli burger they cook the patty very special , normally American the will just left it the patty on the flat top with some salt and pepper, but Ramli burger patty they will cut the patty into half then put Maggie seasoning( same  with soya sauce) and salt and pepper , the Maggie seasoning it will make patty more favour and soya sauce aroma, but when we eat the burger , the patty was very dry, like eating a biscuit. It was totally different with American burger, because American burger was juicy on the patty even the patty is well done. A dry burger patty with full of soya sauce aroma it also is a style of Malaysia burger .
